Tanner Bennett is not going to let his finish as runner-up in Provo’s City Council primaries race slow him down.

The Provo Local Foodie Instagram account is approaching its one-year anniversary of showing Provo and Orem residents the best small restaurants in the area.

Many people can remember movie nights growing up. People knew friends with shelves simply covered in DVD cases. Minutes were spent tracing titles with a finger, recalling just how good the movie was the first time around. Eventually, a movie would be chosen, popcorn would be popped, lights would be dimmed, and roughly an hour and a half would be spent watching another life in a different world.

According to A. Jason Alder, poetry is a popular form of literature that challenges writers and readers by inviting them to feel something and to be changed because of writing. As a published author of five collections of poetry and prose, Alder reflects on the goals and hopes of his publications.

Disability Awareness Week, provided by the University Accessibility Center, returns to campus from Jan. 23-28. The week focuses on providing students with events and service opportunities to learn about students who deal with disabilities both visible and invisible, according to Rachel Lyon, assistant director of the UAC.
