Conner Mantz understands sacrifice. He consistently posts the best times for the BYU cross-country team, which doesn’t leave much time for a social life. He tucks in every night around 9 p.m. and his weekends are busy with meets and practices. The sophomore says it’s worth it because of what it is all leading up to.

Jared Ward Runs Again

BYU's own statistics professor and olympian got 6th place in the recent 2018 New York marathon. On November 4th, Jared Ward ran the 26.2 mile race in 2 hours 12 minutes and 24 seconds, becoming the highest-finishing American to compete this year. Jared almost backed out of this year's race due to several injuries.
