UDOT reports crash at Thanksgiving point, left lane closed

The Utah Department of Transportation reported on its website and via twitter a crash northbound on Interstate I-15 at mile point 288 heading northbound through the Point Project at Thanksgiving Point, with more than 15 minute delays. The left lane is reported closed.

I-15 construction ends

The I-15 Core Project is coming to a close. This seemingly eternal project lasted thirty-five months. On November 5th, all the lanes from Spanish Fork to Lehi on I-15 opened. People in Utah County can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and there aren't orange barricades in the way.

After 35 months of lane restrictions on I-15 in Utah county, residents can take relief in knowing the project is almost complete and there will be fewer orange barrels on their Monday-morning commute.
