The Provo Farmers Market is wrapping up its season with some international vendors and a special holiday twist for its second to last week.

Tumbleweeds crowded Utah neighborhoods and streets over the windy weekend. Home entrances, vehicles and even freeways were blocked in cities such as Eagle Mountain and South Jordan. City officials and residents are working to clear the “Tumblemageddon,” and The City Streets crew has put out neighborhood dumpsters specifically for the weeds.

A dashboard camera captured the moment a teen driver collided with two other vehicles near Eagle Mountain on Saturday, Oct. 7.

A glance around the gymnasium reveals a sea of adults offering Popsicles to individuals lounging about, groups of strangers chatting with each other and happy children hammering away at various projects. Nothing about the scene suggests that this is a receiving center for wildfire evacuees.
