Officers fall into frozen pond while trying to rescue teens
In Weber, Utah, two teenage boys fell through the ice in an Ogden Street pond. Weber County's Search and Rescue acted quickly to recover the boys from the freezing water. Two of the officers also fell through the ice during the rescue. Their efforts paid off and they were able to get everyone out safely.

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium's Armadillo, Dahlia, picked the Los Angeles Rams over the Cincinnati Bengals for the 2022 Super Bowl winner. For the prediction, mealworms were placed on the other side of each team's goal line. Dahlia need a few redirects but in the end, she crossed the Ram's goal line to get to a treat of mealworms.

Crossing guard officer saves student from being hit by car
In Cecil, Maryland, police corporal Annette Goodyear was directing traffic at a crosswalk when a car sped towards a walking student. Goodyear acted quickly, shed pushed the middle school student out of the way, and took a hit from the oncoming car. Goodyear was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and released later that day. The driver was fined for neglecting to yield at a crosswalk.

Leaked footage of military jet crashing on USS Carl Vison
Military officials are investigating the source of leaked footage of an F-35C Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter that crashed on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson last month. The footage of the crash was posted online on Reddit and Instagram by an unknown source. The US Navy authenticated the footage to multiple media sources including Stars and Stripes. The crash happened on January 24, 2022. Seven sailors were injured and the fighter sunk in the South China Sea after crashing.

Puppy saved from house fire by firefighters

Off-duty police officer stops armed robbery
While visiting a local supermarket in Barcelona, an off-duty Catalan police officer observed an armed robbery unfolding in front of him. The officer asked the working cashier if everything was okay. The robber next to the cashier responded instead, saying everything was fine. That is when the officer decided to act.
