May 08, 2012 12:00 AM
In Provo during the late 1940s, Grandma Jones would give a treat to any young boy who helped her carry her groceries the few blocks to her home. Jones' husband, A. The sight would have been quaint, if Sandra Turley, a Broadway professional, hadn't opened her mouth and started singing. Her enormous voice filled the store, reminding people why they came in the first place: to hear the love Turley has of music, that rang through each note she sang.
