The BYU Track and Field and BYU Cross Country teams traveled to Salt Lake City to celebrate their national championship wins with Elder D. Todd Christofferson and Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve.

Elder Christofferson and Elder Rasband, representing the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, met the men's and women's teams and congratulated them on their national titles.

The apostles expressed their excitement for the BYU teams' successes and honored the teams' work ethic, efforts and sacrifices. They also wished the athletes great success in their future endeavors.

BYU makes a formal agreement with Idaho National Laboratory, offering several opportunities to BYU engineering students

BYU and the Idaho National Laboratory made a five-year formal agreement, opening a new world of research and internship opportunities for BYU engineering students.

The Idaho National Laboratory — the nation's leading center for nuclear energy research and development — works within the Department of Energy's goal areas, including national security, science and the environment. The Strategic Understanding for Premier Education and Research, or SUPER, agreement streamlines funding, publications, communication and research.

This memorandum of understanding between BYU and the laboratory will expose engineering students to high-quality work and professional connections.

BYU female a cappella group Noteworthy performs shows on campus

BYU's female a cappella group, Noteworthy, performed four shows at BYU. From Jan. 17-18, Noteworthy took to the Mainstage Theatre in the West Campus Central Building.

Noteworthy is composed of seven women and is one of BYU's top performing groups. Noteworthy aims to use vocal music to empower women in discovering their own unique selves and divine nature.

On Jan. 24, Noteworthy released a new music video, an a cappella cover of the song "Even If," by MercyMe.
