Brigham's Wagon treks across BYU campus

There's nothing like the sound of food sizzling on the grill if you're starving. Brigham's Wagon offers a variety of snacks and meals throughout the day. Breakfast sandwiches in the morning and hamburger baskets in the afternoon.

General manager Shanon Mahana has decades of experience in the food industry. She said that the food offered at Brigham's Wagon is exceptional.

"All those years at McDonald's, I can tell when there's a bad fry or a good fry so, the brisket burger is so good, I can't even tell you how good it is, so you have to come taste for yourself,” she said.

The food truck opened early summer 2024, aiming to give students a fresh dining experience.

"Pretty much, I was going to the devotional one day and I saw Brigham's Wagon and I was like, ‘Oh we have a food truck now,’ and then, yeah, I just really like the location right here so it's kind of why I go,” BYU student Kimball Nielson said.

One thing that makes Brigham's Wagon unique is that its location depends on the day.

"Having a different location every day helps us to get around campus and so you know there's even people in offices you know that stay in one place every day and it's kind of fun to have a different food option on, like, a Wednesday or on a Tuesday or whatever,” Mahana said.

Every day Brigham's Wagon moves to different locations around the BYU campus to make it easy for students to grab a bite. Whether it's near the Smith Fieldhouse or even all the way to West Campus, Brigham's Wagon might be right around the corner.
