Abigail Chapman is a sports media journalist currently attending Brigham Young University. She has done outstanding work with the BYU Intramural Sports program for three years as a referee, and now currently as a Program Coordinator. She has also worked for the Manteca California Parks and Recreation Services as a youth sports coach and official, inspiring children to pursue their love of sports and learn the value of teamwork.
Additionally, through her positions as captain of both her high school varsity basketball and track and field teams, as well as her number one ranking as middle blocker for her varsity volleyball team, she has helped her teammates bring well-deserved attention and support to their efforts in representing their school in a positive light within the local sports news section. She continues to develop her love of writing through following BYU’s sports teams and loves to push herself athletically every day. In her free time if she is not playing sports, Abigail loves to draw, read, and watch movies with her twin sister Alex.
