    * Set apart as the 15th president of the Church on March 12, 1995* Served 14 years in the First Presidency* Served 20 years in the Quorum of the Twelve, sustained Sept. 30, 1961* Born June 23, 1910 in Salt Lake City, Utah* Married Marjorie Pay on April 29, 1937, in the Salt Lake Temple* Graduated from the University of Utah in English in 1932* Served a mission in the British Isles from 1933-1935* When he returned from his mission he ws hired as secretary of the newly formed Radio, Publicity and Mission Literature Committee of the Church* Pioneered use of new media for church and missionary purposes* Since returning from his mission, he has always worked full time in church service except for a short time during World War II

Hinckley on March 12, 1995* Has served 15 years in the First Presidency* Sustained to the Quorum of the Twelve Oct 4, 1963* Born Aug. 21, 1927, in Salt Lake City* Married Frances Beverly Johnson, and has three children and six grandchildren* Graduated from the University of Utah in business management and recieved an MBA from BYU* Worked with the Deseret Press for many years and has served on many corporate boards* Has written a variety of books* Served in the Navy in World War II

Hinckley on March 12, 1995* Sustained to the Quorum of the Twelve Sept. 30, 1978* Born July 31, 1920, in Delta, Utah* Married Ruth Wright Faust, have five children and 22 grandchildren* Served a mission in Brazil from 1939-1942* Graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. and juris doctorate in 1948* Practiced law in Salt Lake City* Served in the Utah legislature* Distiguished service in many law organizations
