No. 16 BYU women’s volleyball concluded their first regular season in the Big 12 with a clean sweep in Fort Worth (25-23, 25-22, 25-20)  on Saturday afternoon against TCU.

The Cougars finished the match with a .366 clip and seven service aces, while adding four blocks to the final stats as well.

Nothing new with outside hitter Erin Livingston leading the attack for BYU. She posted 13 kills on a .263 clip. Middle Blockers Whitney McEwan-Llarenas and Mia Lee added seven and nine kills respectively, both while hitting above .400.

Setter Whitney Bower added 33 assists for the Cougars, finishing two digs shy of a double-double against the Horned Frogs. Lee tacked on 3 blocks for BYU’s defensive front.

BYU finished third in the Big 12 behind Texas and Kansas State with a record of 24-6 overall and 13-5 in conference play. Not to mention the impressive 12-1 record at home.

With no conference tournament, the Cougars now return to Provo and await their postseason draw with the NCAA Selection Show airing on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 4 P.M. MST on ESPN.
