Five dollars can get you more than you bargained for. This new money saver has to do with the app GrubPass.
Grub Pass allows you to get $5 dollars off every order of $10 or more during the restaurant’s slow times. One can check in on the app and use their discount between 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. or 8 p.m. – closing.
The app was started by James Curran, otherwise known as JTM. While James is a rapper, entrepreneurship has always been his passion, he said. He hopes the app will help people go out more, without spending too much.
Grub Pass is available to both Android and IOS users. The restaurants on the app are currently only those within Utah County, but he plans to expand to Salt Lake soon.
