Alexandra White was named an honorable mention All-American by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association on Tuesday.
White is one of six BYU women’s golfers to earn All-American honors. Rachel Newren was the last BYU All-American with her second-team nod in 2007. BYU coach Carrie Roberts also was named an honorable mention All-American in 2000.
The BYU senior finished her career at the NCAA Division I Golf Championships tied for 14th place with a score of +9 after three rounds at Rich Harvest Farms. She proudly represented the Cougars as an individual competitor.
During the season, White had 10 top-20 finished in 11 stroke-play tournaments, nine of which were top-10 finishes. White finished the season with a career-best 72.9 stroke average.
White also received medalist honors at the 2017 WCC Championships in April where she carded 73-74-70 (+1).
