Starting center Tejan Koroma is returning to the BYU football program.
BYU football coaches met with the team Tuesday morning to announce Koroma's return.
Koroma withdrew from BYU during winter semester and missed the Cougars' spring ball. But, head coach Kalani Sitake said repeatedly throughout the spring that Koroma's return was up to him and that the staff and team would gladly welcome him back.
Koroma was a Freshman All-American in 2014. He's started 25 games at center for the Cougars, including a streak of 21 straight. He was named to the Phil Steele All-Independent team after the season.
The Cougars' 2016 season begins Sept. 3 against Arizona in University of Phoenix Stadium.
