With a final score of 9.920, the Cougarettes took first place in the Jazz 1A Division at the National Dance Alliance Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida this weekend.
The two runner ups were Texas Tech with a final score of 9.774 and Penn State with a final score of 9.626.
This is the team's sixteenth national title. Last year they took home the NDA National title in Open Dance. Below is the video from their award winning piece.
