The BYU men's basketball team received an invitation to play as a No. 2 seed in the 2016 National Invitation Tournament.

BYU will host No. 7 seed University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Wednesday, March 16, at 8 p.m. (MST) in the Marriott Center. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

A first-round win would mean a Friday or Monday night second round game against Virginia Tech or Princeton for the Cougars.
