While the Cougars football season winds down, basketball season is just gearing up, and it should be a good year for a certain senior guard.
Tyler Haws is his name, and he's been ranked No. 11 by ESPN.com in its annual college hoops player rankings.
There's no reason Haws can't end what has been a great BYU career with a roar. On a team with five seniors and plenty of young talent, the guard should have more space to create shots and work his magic.
Haws currently ranks fifth all-time at BYU in scoring with 1,944 points, 655 away from catching the great Jimmer Fredette.
BYU hosts its next exhibition game on Nov. 8 at the Marriott Center against Seattle Pacific.
