Cougars look to remain undefeated

After a nice road win over UNLV, the Cougar women's basketball team is excited for the chance to get some revenge against Boston College.

Last year the Cougars fell to the Eagles in a nail bitter 62-56 and the team hopes to redeem itself this year.

“It’s really exciting because that was defiantly a tough loss,” guard Xojian Harry said. “I remember the feeling in the locker-room after the game and it was just a slap to the face and kind of wake up call. So it will be nice to go out and be focused and ready to go. It’s another game that we need to get a win because we want to make it back to the tournament this year.”

The Cougars have big expectations for this year and are 2-0 so far with victories over South Dakota State and UNLV. They hope to keep their streak alive as they will host Boston College this Saturday at 4 p.m.

This will mark the first time the Eagles have visited the Marriott Center and only the second time these two teams have met. The Eagles lead the series 1-0.
