The Philadelphia 76ers announced they signed rookie free agent Brandon Davies on Oct. 28. Davies was waived from the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 21.

The same day Davies signed with the 76ers he tweeted, 'When one door closes, another door opens.'
Davies was named All-West Coast Conference First Team as a junior and a senior at BYU. The 22-year-old was also named Most Valuable Player of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament pre-NBA Draft camp this past April. Davies also competed for the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2013 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas and appeared in five games for the Clippers this preseason.
