The men's soccer team hosts the Fresno Fuego Saturday at South Field with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m.
Head Coach Chris Watkins said the Cougars looked a little nervous during Thursday's game against the LA Misioneros which ultimately in a scoreless draw. BYU can't afford to be off its game against the club from Fresno though.
The Fuego are 28-1 in their last 29 regular season PDL games. The only loss came to OC Blue Star this season, who are currently ranked first in the division. The California club was last year's regular season champion and named the PDL's Organization of the Year. The Fuego made it to the Western Conference finals of the PDL playoffs last year led by the league's MVP, Milton Blanco.
After Thursday's tie, Watkins said that the Cougars will be working on being smarter and more composed in the attack. He said that if they can find their offensive rhythm, they'll be okay. BYU has not lost a game yet this season.
The Fresno Fuego are currently ranked second in the Southwest division.
