For those of you whose favorite day of class was watching 'A More Perfect Union' in American Heritage, make sure your next visit to AIM is to sign up for TMA 102: Introduction to Film.
The reel-life class is worth three credits, and you can save that dollar you were going spend to see 'Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star' at Movies 8, because these films are free-ninety-free.
The films range from Charlie Chaplin classics to Westerns to foreign films, with a dash of modern movies as well. Class meets in the Kimball Tower auditorium, and labs are required. If you find the right someone to sit next to, you can pretend it''s a date (and the popcorn''s only 60 cents from the vending machines).
But it''s not all fun and games. Students report the class actually requires some effort. For movie buffs, though, the chance to mix school with pleasure is a dream come true.
