A young female fin whale carcass was found washed up on a coastal trail in Anchorage, Alaska on Saturday, Nov. 16. The endangered whale measured to nearly 47 feet, whereas a full grown whale can measure up to more than 80 feet. Experts are trying to determine the whale's cause of death but are enduring complications due to the freezing temperatures.
