Time lapse footage shows the 42nd Great Reno Balloon Race as it kicked off on Friday, Sept. 6. The annual festival is known as the world's largest free hot ballooning event. Activities included the titular race, civilian balloon rides, a photo contest and much more. The free festival wrapped up on Sunday, Sept. 8.
