A business jet carrying five people skidded off the runway and into shallow water near the Oregon coast early Monday, April 7. The HondaJet was arriving from St. George, Utah, when it overran the runway at Southwest Oregon Regional Airport in North Bend and it came to rest about 100 feet into Coos Bay. All five people on board the plane were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and airport operations have since resumed.
