An elephant sanctuary in Thailand had to evacuate about 100 elephants on Thursday, Oct. 3 due to a flash flood. The flooding came from heavy rain and mountain overflow, causing significant destruction to the sanctuary. The elephants were led to higher ground to wait for the water levels to go down.
