The Utah Department of National Resources announced on Sept. 18 a multi-organization effort designed to raise the Great Salt Lake’s water levels.

The newly-built West View Building on campus was dedicated today by Bishop W. Christopher Waddell, the first counselor in the Presiding Bishopric.

BYU unveiled its devotional and forum schedule for fall semester which includes apostles and other Church leaders, university faculty and renowned public figures.

Church leaders spoke on a number of topics such as the COVID-19 pandemic, sustainability and finding hope in Jesus Christ during the Saturday afternoon session of General Conference Oct. 3.

The Presiding Bishopric has many responsibilities within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including humanitarian work, temple design and construction, financial investments, and church publications. These oversight responsibilities help individuals — and the church — prepare spiritually for the future, according to Bishop W. Christopher Waddell, who spoke Nov. 5 at the devotional in the Marriott Center.
