Education Week: Look forward to the Second Coming
During an Education Week session on Tuesday, August 20, Randall C. Bird discussed the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, saying many people fear the Second Coming because it means they need to repent — and fast. 'But we do not want to be troubled,' he said, 'We want to be excited.'

Viewpoint: The bucket list
This Sunday, the sun, moon and Earth will create a uniquely fiery sunset. The alignment will cause a rare annular eclipse resulting in a 'ring of fire' in the evening sky. And Utah has a front row seat. The event will be visible from the Wastach front on Sunday evening with the best views coming from St. George and Cedar City.
