ROC brings energy to games, propels Cougars to victory
Bradley Pilkington didn’t leave LaVell Edwards Stadium until well after 1 a.m. the Sunday morning after BYU football’s upset win over Boise State on Oct. 19. Like many other BYU fans, Pilkington braved the freezing rain and frigid winds late into the night to cheer on the Cougars at their successful home game.

BYU basketball in the WCC tournament: ROC-ing out in Vegas
With no official spring break, a group of BYU seniors went down to Las Vegas, Nevada, on their fourth and final trip to cheer on the Cougars in the West Coast Conference basketball tournament. These dedicated members of the ROC (Roar of Cougars) student section stay at Kaitlyn Kole's home, hitting the tourist sites in between games.

New ROC section lighting up Marriott Center for BYU basketball
An imposing BYU 'Roar of Cougars' ROC student section has become a staple of men's basketball games at home. Attitudes skeptical of the 2012 student section changes, which included moving the section from mid-court to behind the basket, appear to have rebounded as students continue to have a positive effect on games.
