Army pilot, military cop are 1st women to pass Ranger School

FORT BENNING, Ga. — The two women who will graduate Friday from the Army's elite Ranger School — the first females to successfully complete the notoriously grueling program — are 'tough soldiers' who proved their mettle beyond a doubt, one of the school's top leaders said Thursday.

BYU ROTC grad is Army infantry commandant

Colonel David B. Haight, who was recently appointed as the Commandant of the U.S. Army Infantry schools at Ft. Benning, Georgia, began his military career with the BYU Army ROTC.
