Converting from atheism to Christianity: Choosing to believe in God

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Christine Truong was an atheist for most of her life; she never believed in a God and didn't want anything to do with religion. In fact, she found enjoyment in arguing with people who were Christians. She prescribed to science and reason, and believing in something as intangible as God didn't make sense to her.

'I think that morality is the most important characteristic in modern society and the most lacking, but I'm not sure to what degree Paterno is responsible for Sandusky's actions. ... I think that as amateur athletics become more in the spotlight they undergo much greater scrutiny, and they are held to a much higher standard.'
