NYSE halts trading on technical issue; other exchanges open
The New York Stock Exchange stopped trading in the late morning Wednesday because of a technical problem, though NYSE-listed shares continued to trade on other exchanges such as the Nasdaq. The exchange said on its official Twitter feed that the issue was internal and not related to a breach of its systems.
