Army ROTC cadet finds meaning in military service, family

Some BYU students have gone skydiving, some have lived in foreign countries, some have transferred from another university and some have changed majors multiple times. Few BYU students, however, have gotten married, had children and served two active duty tours overseas with the United States Army before enrolling in school.

BYU starts support group for BYU combat veterans

There is an estimate of 300 Iraq and Afghanistan combat veterans on campus. The Stress Services and Biofeedback area of BYU Counseling and Psychological Services is offering a support group for BYU combat veterans starting Oct. 1.

The cost of a volunteer military

During my first semester at BYU I was walking home from church in the Harmon Building. I was accompanied by my roommate, who commented on the fact that the University hadn't done much to commemorate September 11th that weekend. She said she liked it and was pleased to not attend another ceremony of mourning.
