Participants walk for suicide awareness during Walk 4 Hope

Almost everyone walking at the Walk4Hope has lost a loved one by suicide. As they come together, they share stories, memories and even exchange hugs to commemorate those who have passed and those who have survived.

Communities come together for suicide prevention

Hannah Warburton died by suicide at the age of 16 in 2014. In her memory, her mother has become a strong advocate for suicide prevention and hopes to change the stigma of shame that inhibits those who are struggling to reach out for help. (Live Hannah's Hope)

Utah House bill funds youth suicide prevention

Suicide was the first leading cause of death for Utahns between the ages of 10-24 in 2015. National Suicide Prevention Week, held this year from September 11-16, aims to create healthy conversations about the highly stigmatized topic and raise awareness about resources available to those struggling with suicidal ideation.

HOPE Squads help prevent suicide in Utah high schools
