The Los Angeles Times reported a new turn in the hoax played on Notre Dame star linebacker Manti Te'o yesterday by releasing a story in which Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the alleged perpetrator of the elaborate hoax, has done an interview with Dr. Phil.

LAIE, Hawaii (AP) — People in the small Hawaii hometown of Manti Te'o are offering support for the Notre Dame linebacker, after the story of his girlfriend and her death from leukemia were revealed as a hoax.
