The Purple Shirts of International Women's Day
Aliza Carns, a BYU senior minoring in Global Women's Studies and the co-president of the Global Women's Honor Society, shared the significance of International Women's Day and the purple shirt she wore to celebrate. For International Women's Day on March 8, the Global Women's Studies department collectively decided to wear matching purple shirts in honor of justice and dignity for women across the world.
