Whiting was hired at BYU before the 2022-2023 season after longtime head coach, Jeff Judkins, retired.
Whiting was previously the head coach at Burley High School in Burley, Idaho, where she coached her team to a state championship.
In three seasons at BYU, Whiting has gone 45-51 and has yet to sniff the NCAA Tournament. BYU lost in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament to UCF on Wednesday, bringing the Cougars' record to 13-17.
