Report: BYU to part ways with women's basketball head coach Amber Whiting
After three straight losing seasons for head coach Amber Whiting and the BYU Women's Basketball team, Whiting is reportedly not coming back to coach the Cougars for a fourth season.
According Talia Goodman of On3.com, BYU is "expected to part ways," with Whiting.

Whiting has been at the helm of the Cougars since 2022 and had a 45-51 overall record with the program.

Whiting was hired at BYU before the 2022-2023 season after longtime head coach, Jeff Judkins, retired.
Whiting was previously the head coach at Burley High School in Burley, Idaho, where she coached her team to a state championship.
In three seasons at BYU, Whiting has gone 45-51 and has yet to sniff the NCAA Tournament. BYU lost in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament to UCF on Wednesday, bringing the Cougars' record to 13-17.
