As the spring season approaches for BYU women's tennis, Bobo Huang and Kendall Kovick both received well-deserved recognition.
The ITA updated its player rankings with Huang and Kovick being ranked the No. 56 women's doubles team. These rankings had not been updated since before the season started. The last rankings update came on Aug. 27.
This ranking is a major boost to the Cougars as they came into fall season unranked. Earlier this year, Huang and Kovick broke a 23-year drought of no BYU women's tennis players at the NCAA championships.
Through fall play, Kovick and Huang sport a 5-2 record.
Huang, Kovick and the rest of the BYU women's tennis team will start the season Jan. 16 by visiting Weber State.
