BYU women's basketball freshman standout Delaney Gibb continues to collect accolades.
Gibb was named the Big 12 freshman of the week for the fourth time this season and by doing so, set the record for most weekly awards by a freshman in BYU history.

In games against Houston and No. 12 Kansas State, Gibb averaged 17 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, a block and a steal on 40.7 percent shooting. She helped the Cougars grab their first Big 12 win of the season in a 89-75 win against Houston.

Despite the loss to the No. 12 Wildcats, Gibb led the team in scoring with 18 points on 7 of 15 shooting while also recording seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal.
The phenom from Raymond, Alberta, Canada, currently leads all Big 12 freshmen in points per game (16.56), field goal percentage (.474), assists per game (3.81), 3-point percentage (.390), 3-point field goals made per game (2.56) and minutes per game (32.75) this season.

In addition to leading Big 12 freshmen in scoring, Gibb also leads the Cougars in points per game. Her playmaking abilities have allowed her to spread the ball around and set up her teammates for open shots.

Gibb will hope to get BYU back on track as the Cougars travel to Lubbock to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday at 5 p.m.
