The No. 23 BYU women's volleyball team hosts No. 18 Baylor this week on Thursday.
It's regarded as a must-win for the Cougars in terms of the Big 12 race.
The Cougars are in the middle of a two-game losing streak, with both setbacks coming against Big 12 teams Arizona and No.15 Arizona State. Both games were on the road and it was a disappointing week for the Cougars.
Like BYU, Baylor has played against both Arizona and Arizona State already this season. Both of those matches were wins for the Bears with Wildcats, 25-18, 25-23, 25-16, 25-17 and the Sun Devils, 25-21, 25-22, 25-17, 25-17.
The Bears are coming off a recent loss at No. 22 TCU on Oct. 6. TCU won in four games.
The Cougars overall on the season are 9-5, and 2-2 in Big 12 play, with both of those losses coming in the same week. After its loss to TCU, Baylor is 10-4 on the season and 2-1 in the Big 12.
