BYU Cougarettes meet 'High School Musical's' KayCee Stroh for exclusive content creation

When the BYU Cougarettes met up with High School Musical star KayCee Stroh, a collaboration of epic dance moves and a shared passion for performance was created.

After Stroh came into contact with coaches Stacy Bills and Morgan St. Pierre of the Cougarettes, a plan to meet up and create together was arranged.

Known for her role as Martha Cox in the wildly popular High School Musical Franchise, Stroh is an American actress, singer and dancer from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Stroh has a large following on the popular social media platform TikTok, and is known for her energetic and entertaining videos.

Her love for dance is the common connection that brought her together with the BYU Cougarettes.

Plans were arranged for Stroh, her husband, two daughters and her niece to meet the Cougarettes during their practice hours on BYU campus to make TikTok videos together.

"We spent an hour or so rehearsing the dances we were filming with her and Cosmo," says Cougarette team member Kate Zimmerman.

After a short rehearsal period, the group set out to find multiple locations on BYU campus to film these short visuals.

"It was such a fun, lighthearted day for us," Zimmerman said.

The Cougarettes filmed multiple videos with the actress.

Though the Strohs are usually fans of Utah State, they showed up in BYU blue to film and hang with the team.

"They were so much fun and a nice break from our usual training schedule," said St. Pierre.
