10 'Big Noon Kickoff' signs the Cougars are winners

The BYU Cougars have impressed in 2024 on the football field. They have jumped out to a perfect 6-0 start in their season. The Cougars have been so impressive Fox’s "Big Noon Kickoff" came to Provo over the weekend for the first time.

The weekend held great success for BYU and its game against the Arizona Wildcats. The Cougars picked up their sixth win easily, beating the Wildcats 41-19. BYU improved to 3-0 in their Big 12 play and jumped to No. 13 in both the AP and CFP Poll.

There were thousands of fans watching the show in the west parking lot of LaVell Edwards Stadium, chanting and showing their Cougar spirit. There were some phenomenal signs made for the country to see and we have compiled a list of the Top 10 best ones we saw over the weekend.

10. The Dog. There is almost always a dog sign. It is a classic and adding the Y gives it that Provo spin it always needed.

9. Of course, highlighted throughout the morning was the pain of the Cougars' rivals up north. After a horrible Utah performance on Friday in a loss at Arizona State, these hit home with a little extra power. This one is one of the few that made the cut.

8. The Cougar tail. Just like the classic what "would you do for a Klondike bar?" with a classic BYU twist.

7. Urban Meyer, who is part of the "Big Noon Kickoff" crew, had to make the list. With the antipathy that BYU fans harbor for anything Utah-related, it was good to see the former Ute coach photoshopped onto a Cosmo uniform for a “meet and greet.”

6. Provo is the place where Wildcats die. After absolutely demolishing the Kansas State team, the fans astutely pointed out that Wildcats hadn’t fared well. It is worth adding this held up quite well after the 41-19 performance of the Cougars.

5. The conversions of 2024 and their drastic difference. A fan put up the stat that Arizona had managed just 20 third-down conversions through the first five games. The LDS missionaries, however, were up at 251,763.

4. Yes, we are sober. The famous creamery chocolate milk was featured with the block "Y" promoting the Cougars and their best drink.

3. Nothing says Provo like the familiar sight of the Mutual App. The dating app meant for young adults in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was depicted with Coach Kalani Sitake. The fans are happy to be 6-0 and happy to have their coach.

2. In the second position, there's the classic Book of Mormon phrase "mourn with those that mourn." With a college football twist featuring all the biggest losers' school letters to supplement the lettering. It not only featured the "Team Up North" but predicted the future that Arizona would inevitably face with a loss.

1. Finally in the No. 1 spot is … this has always been Big 12 Country. The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles makes an appearance. In a Big 12 conference that BYU has been able to run so far, this sign was good to see after a disappointing first year in the conference. BYU is in real contention.
