Medical
A female student passed out in the Anatomy Lab of the Life Sciences Building. After regaining consciousness, she was treated by University EMS and was able to return to her schoolwork.

Two players collided, hitting their heads at the North University Fields. Both were treated and released.

A female fell while roller skating in the Wilkinson Student Center. She was treated by University EMS and was brought back to her place of residence.

A male student was playing soccer at the Indoor Practice Facility when he twisted his ankle. University EMS responded and he was released to a friend.

A student was feeling sick in the LSB and University EMS responded.

A student tripped and fell in front of the BYU Conference Center, hitting their head. University EMS responded and treated the patient before releasing them.

An office responded to a skateboard accident in Lot 34. Provo fire transported the patient to the Utah Valley Hospital.

University EMS responded to a sick person at the Harold B. Lee Library. EMS cleared the patient and brought them back to their residence.

An officer responded to a male who hit his head while playing flag football at the North University Fields. Coincidentally, another male playing flag football dislocated his elbow. Both patients were sent to the Utah Valley Hospital in ambulances.

Agency assist
Provo Police Department responded to a call about a student who was reportedly suicidal. The student was located and taken to the Utah Valley Hospital for an involuntary commitment.

Accident
A student on a scooter was struck in a crosswalk by a vehicle. Officers are using surveillance footage to find the vehicle and driver involved. The vehicle is a medium-sized white SUV of unknown make and model.

A hit and run occurred in Lot 37, knocking the front bumper off the vehicle. Officers were unable to locate a suspect.

Two vehicles collided east of Lot 254. Surveillance footage was requested by both parties.

A female requested Wymount Terrace surveillance footage after seeing damage to the bumper of her 2011 white Nissan Sentra.

A minor accident occurred in Lot 33. A report was filed and the drivers exchanged insurance information.

A vehicle was damaged in the faculty parking lot. Video surveillance is under review.

Property damage
A student employee hit a parked vehicle while driving an extended golf cart on the sidewalk. All parties were contacted and a report was made to Risk Management.

A school bus accidentally hit a metal post sign in Lot 45. University Grounds was notified of the damaged sign.

A minor traffic collision happened in Lot 46. Both parties exchanged information.

Suspicious
An employee from Enrollment Services reported receiving inappropriate phone calls that were sexual in nature. The case has been referred to Investigations to see if the caller can be identified.

A suspicious male was observed in the area during an event at the Richards Building. An officer located the male, who seemed to be participating in the event.

An unidentified adult female was located at the Key Office. She is believed to have had a possible mental health issue, and left the area without further action from police.

Juvenile problem
Juveniles were reported to be skating in an area near the RB, preventing university staff from setting up for an event. When asked to leave by University Police, they cooperated.

Traffic offense
Four individuals were found to be riding electric motorcycles on campus. After educating them on the laws regarding electric-powered motorcycles and campus policy, and receiving a verbal warning, the group left the area.

Unsecure premises
The doors at the IPF were found to be unlocked and unsecured. There was an event held there that was supposed to go until 1 a.m. but was finished early.

Welfare check
An officer responded to a report about a complainant’s friend not answering their texts while on a date. The officer was able to get in contact with the subject and she was fine.

Dispatch was unable to contact a security officer at the Broadcast building, and sent an officer to perform a welfare check. The officer was able to locate the security guard at his desk and no further action was taken.

Abandoned 911 call
University Police was dispatched to an abandoned 911 call. Upon arrival, they found that a child had accidentally dialed 911.

Found property
An officer was given a student ID card found near a bus stop. The owner was contacted, and the card was returned.

Lost property was found at the CONF and was properly returned to its owner.

Assault
University Police responded to an active assault at the Y-trailhead. The suspected offender was taken into custody and was treated by Provo Fire and University EMS. He was transported to the hospital to treat self-inflicted head injuries and involuntarily committed.

Found person
A child was found at the Student Health Center. The child was able to provide information for the SHC to locate the parent.

Citizen contact
A troubling phone call to IT services at BYU was reported on the basis that the caller made a statement about self-harm. Customer service handled the situation and University Police made an incident report.

A complainant reported his bike to be stolen. It was located in the university's impound yard.

A student reported their bike to be locked to another one at a bike rack on campus for more than a week. University security cut the lock and the other bike was impounded.

Assist public
A five-year-old accidentally locked herself in the restroom at the Wymount Laundry Building 5. Officers used a Halligan tool to open the lock and pry the door open. The child was fine.

Information
A student from Budge Hall was pushed into the stairwell by five Merrill Hall residents in Merrill Hall. The attackers were unidentifiable by the victim.

A car with swastika symbols was reported to be in Lot 26G. The owner of the vehicle was identified and the symbols were identified to be the equilateral cross.
