Accident
Two vehicles collided in Lot 45, causing one driver to sustain a minor laceration to her leg, along with the deployment of her side airbags. Neither driver required medical transport and the necessary information was exchanged.

Two vehicles collided in Lot 19. Information was exchanged, pictures were taken and a DI-9 form was sent to the state.

A minor accident occurred in Lot 53. A report was filed, and information was exchanged.

Suspicious
An unidentified male was reported to have entered the Faculty Center at the Harold B. Lee Library and removed some stationery items before leaving. He was unauthorized to be there. Efforts are in place to identify the person of interest.

A suspicious male was reported to be walking northbound from the Richards Building to Helaman Halls. Officers could not find the person of interest.

A suspicious male was reported to be seen in the area of the waterfall between Heritage Halls and Lot 2. Officers were unable to find the person of interest.

Three males were reported to have been talking to random people near the Joseph F. Smith Building and the HBLL, trying to get them to drink something that they ended up spitting out. An officer, who was previously in the area, witnessed the subjects pouring raw chicken eggs into a cup and drinking it. Because it wasn’t illegal, no further action was taken.

A female was reported to be handling scissors in an unsafe manner near 2400 WSC. Officers spoke with the complainant and the individual. No further action was taken.

A woman’s screams were reported near Heritage Halls. Officers responded and observed many people engaged in various activities. Because no criminal activity was detected, no further action was taken.

Property damage
A university employee made a delayed report about minor damage to a campus vehicle. It is unknown when the damage occurred and how it was done.

Medical
A male dislocated his knee while playing football at the North University Field. It was determined he should seek further medical attention. He was assisted into a friend’s vehicle.

A female was reported to be having a seizure at the Riviera Apartment complex. The female was administered first aid and then transported to Utah Valley Hospital for minor injuries.

A male student passed out while receiving an IV during a class at the RB. The Provo Fire Department responded and cleared the individual to go back to work.

A female student experienced dehydration and vomited after the university’s annual “Light the Y” hike. She was able to walk to the parking lot and receive a ride home from a friend.

A student fainted while giving blood. University EMS medically assessed and cleared the patient.

Theft
A student reported their bicycle to be missing from near the Harman Building. The bicycle was not found on surveillance footage and has not been impounded. Investigations will continue this case.

A student referee reported that his debit card and driver’s license were stolen from his wallet during an intramural football game at the North University Field. Charges to his card were made at a Walmart in Saratoga Springs and at a Maverick in Draper. The case is continuing to be investigated.

A male reported his wallet to be stolen with his cards being used fraudulently. Investigations will follow up on the case.

A student reported his Hiboy S2 Max electric scooter as stolen from Riviera Apartments. Surveillance footage was not helpful in finding a possible suspect.

Found property
A red Mongoose MGX D50i bicycle was found outside of the University Services Building. Officers recorded the bike in their database and took the bike to the impound lot.

A wallet was found by an employee at Turning Point Rehab Center. An officer was able to reach out to the owner, giving him the location and contact information of where he can retrieve it.

Information
A woman reported that her car was keyed in the lot below the JFSB. After looking at surveillance footage, the officer reported no evidence of vandalism had occurred at that location.

Two males were reported to have entered HR 06, acting suspiciously. After speaking with the complainant, the officer determined there was no suspicious behavior.

A male could not find his electric bike at the WSC. An officer was able to find it near the JFSB and informed the complainant of its location.

A student reported that their University ID photo was being used fraudulently on the GroupMe app. The student was looking for assistance on how to get the account shut down.

Citizen contact
Officers visited about 200 students gathered at Budge Hall for “Dare Night.”Because some of the activities on the list of dares could be criminal, they were promptly removed from the list.

Welfare check
A complainant reported that she saw what seemed like a 20-year-old Hispanic man following an 18-year-old female near the the J. Reuben Clark Law School and Heritage Central Building. The area was checked, and no one was found matching the description.

A report was made of a female student possibly rubbing her arm with a knife during an opening prayer in class. An officer contacted the student who stated she did not have a knife and that it was most likely a pen she was holding. The officer took no further action.

A female student lost connection during a Safe Walk. Officers met the student at her place of residence, where she explained that the system failed to record her completed walk due to the lost connection.

Trespassing
A Heritage Halls Resident Assistant reported two students lying in a hammock between two trees. Officers spoke with the individuals and the hammock was removed from the trees.

Traffic offense
An elderly couple was reported to have been driving a vehicle on the sidewalks. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle or its occupants. Dispatch was able to locate a license plate, call the registered owner and leave a message. The registered owner has yet to return the call.
