Theft
A scooter was stolen and detectives are following up on the case.

A scooter was stolen from West Campus. The complainant will look for a serial number and submit it for further investigation.

A professor reported that a set of micrometers and calipers were missing from a lab cabinet in the Crabtree Technology Building.

Information
An elderly male was reported to have been making verbal threats to employees at the Marriott Center ticket office after not being able to purchase tickets. Officers went to his place of residence and explained the Utah State Code to him. He was extremely embarrassed and apologetic.

Accident
A traffic accident was reported in Lot 38. There were no injuries and very minor damage.

A Lincoln Town Car was hit while parked in Lot 59. There is no suspect information.

A scooterist fell to the ground after a car made a left turn in front of him. An officer completed a traffic accident report.

Lost property
A complainant reported lost AirPods. After searching an area, the complainant was able to locate them.

A purse was reported to be missing in the Wilkinson Student Center. It was turned into the Lost and Found.

Found property
A knife was found in the grass near the Museum of Art. The knife was booked into evidence until an owner is found.

Medical
A female student hurt her knee during an intramural soccer game at the Richards Building’s east soccer field. She was assessed and released to her brother’s care.

A sister missionary was reported to be found unconscious at the Missionary Training Center because of extreme anxiety and stress. Her parents were contacted and were able to come to the MTC to assist her.

A female was reported to have dislocated her shoulder at the RB. After being assessed, she was released to her husband and taken to receive further medical care.

A male passed out and hit his head at the Thomas L. Martin Building. He was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

A female was treated for low blood sugar in Lot 6.

A student passed out during class in the Life Science Building. The student was cleared and released back to class.

Suspicious 
A suspicious man was reported in the Wilkinson Student Center. An officer responded and the individual left without incident.

A complainant reported receiving a suspicious letter. The responding officer determined that the letter was not of a criminal nature.

An officer responded to gunshot sounds near the football fields at West Campus. They could not find anything suspicious.

A female reported a suspicious male in the Jesse Knight Building with a guitar, asking her to go down a quiet hall with him so he could play a song for her. She later saw him doing the same thing to women at the Cannon Center.

Welfare check
A female reported her boyfriend to be depressed and suicidal. After responding to the Riviera Apartments and speaking with him, officers transported him to Utah Valley Hospital for a mental health evaluation.

An officer went to the residence of a student who didn’t mark their virtual safe walk as completed. The student had completed it.

A university employee reported a person sleeping on the couch all day in the Tanner Building. Officers spoke with the individual and the individual remained on scene.

Property damage
The sign at the Y-Trailhead had been struck by a trail user. An officer found the sign near the bathroom and notified the sign shop.

Fire/criminal mischief
Molotov cocktails were reported to be thrown into the street at 900 Temple View Drive and off the parking garage at the TNRB. Suspects drove off in a white vehicle.

Keep the peace
A parent and student approached officers at the JKB regarding the student’s welfare. The officers informed them that they couldn’t do anything about it without a judge’s order or signs of self-harm. The parent refused to leave and contacted Provo Police Department for assistance before leaving with a 10-day campus ban.

Missing person
A woman reported her husband, who has dementia, to be missing at the LaVell Edwards Stadium. Officers located him and gave him a ride to reunite him with his wife.
