Medical
Provo EMS, BYU EMS and BYU Police attended to a man who crashed on his skateboard after hitting some wet leaves. They applied antiseptics and provided comfort and encouragement.

An 18-year-old girl experienced an allergic reaction after eating food that contained turmeric. She administered her EpiPen and took Benadryl, but requested to be transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

BYU EMS, Provo EMS and BYU Police responded to the Marriott Center after receiving a report of a man who was in need of medical attention. The man was confused and disoriented regarding time, place and location. The man received treatment before being released to his family, who anticipated taking him to a medical center for further evaluation.

A student broke his lower right leg after landing wrong during an intramural basketball game. He was quickly transported to the hospital for treatment by Provo medics.

An officer responded to the Music Building after an elderly woman fell during a performance in the concert hall. BYU EMS and Provo Paramedics treated her at the scene for a hip injury before transporting her to the hospital for further care.

Suspicious
A complainant reported an unattended cooler at the Kimball Tower that had been removed from the stairwell during a speaking event featuring former U.S. senator Mitt Romney. The person's decision to report the cooler was likely influenced by the high-profile event.

A woman reported a white van following her to work one morning. It was later determined that the driver of the van was a BYU plumber going to the same location, and there was no indication of malicious intent. The woman was still suspicious due to the plumber following her same route to the building despite more direct routes being available, and was advised to report any future occurrences.

Civil Problem
A complainant reported possible property damage at HR10. They discovered a subcontractor hired by BYU had engraved a disturbing image on the elevator wall. They decided not to press charges and instead intended to talk to the subcontractor and request the individual not return to campus.

Fireworks
Fireworks were ignited in the tunnel connecting the Richards Building to Helaman Halls. There were no injuries or damage, and the suspects were not identified.
