An elderly spectator was struck in the head by a softball during the BYU women’s softball game. Provo and BYU EMS responded, providing further care and treating the spectator before releasing them at the stadium.

A BYU student injured his knee while playing basketball in the Smith Fieldhouse. Although Provo EMS responded, he chose to have his friends drive him for medical treatment.

Alarm
Officers responded to the Jesse Knight Building following a report of an AED alarm. Upon arrival, they found BYU technicians installing a new AED cabinet.
Welfare check
An officer checked on a student that was possibly suicidal. Upon contacting the student, the officer learned that they did not need any assistance, having already spoken with family and confirmed that they were not currently suicidal.
Police officers were dispatched to the Wilkinson Student Center for a welfare check after a caller reported overhearing a concerning conversation between a male and another party on the phone, noting that a female was with the male. Concerned about the nature of the conversation, the officers contacted the couple to discuss what had been said. No criminal activity was discovered, and the couple was found to be safe.
Accident
A hit-and-run was reported. Dispatch reviewed the camera footage, but no recordings captured that area.
A motorist was pulling into a parking space when they hit a parked car. Information was exchanged.
A motorist hit a parked car in Lot 49, causing minor scuffing. An officer was able to provide the motorist with the name and phone number of the parked car's owner.
Suspicious
A male wearing a dark hat and a tan or orange hoodie approached an individual at Heritage Halls, asking if they lived there. The individual replied, “No,” and left the area.
Unsecured door
An officer found the new umpire locker room at Miller Field unlocked. The officer locked and secured the doors for the night.
Trespassing
Two males entered the Student Athletic Building and were seen taking items and entering offices. The two individuals were later contacted by investigators and cited for criminal trespass.
Criminal mischief
Feces was found in the trashcan of the single-occupant bathroom in the Music Building. Due to the restroom's private nature, no witnesses could identify the person responsible for the mess, which had already been cleaned up prior to the officers' arrival.
