A student was supposed to be on an 8 a.m. flight to Florida to open his mission call, when his family was unable to contact him because he slept through his alarm. It was confirmed that he made his flight and they would FaceTime BYU police officers when he opened his mission call later that day.

A student made a report of a missing electric scooter near the Student Athlete Building. No surveillance footage of the incident was found.

A female student reported passing a male student on the sidewalk who was holding his cell phone to his chest, believing he was recording her. When an officer reviewed security footage, she was unable to identify the male.

Traffic offense
A white Mazda CX5 was driving on the sidewalk near Brigham Square. The driver explained that he worked for BYU Athletics and was hanging posters for the tennis match. The officer advised him to use the golf cart and to call the Dispatch Center before hanging posters late at night.

Domestic violence
A female reported that her husband had been physically violent towards her and their dog following an argument at Wyview Park. After interviewing the husband and wife, it was determined that the husband had acted with intent to harm, and was arrested and transported to Utah County Jail.

Medical
A student was feeling lightheaded and shaky at the Jesse K. Knight building. She was assessed by EMS, but declined further medical attention.

Keep the peace
BYU Police responded to Wyview Park to keep the peace during a property exchange due to a court-issued no-contact order. The exchange happened without issues.
