Alarm
A system short caused an alarm at the Missionary Training Center.

Officers responded to a fire alarm at Wyview Park. It was caused by cooking smoke, the tenants said.

An individual touched security-protected merchandise at the Cougar Tech store, triggering an alarm. The alarm was reset.

A tenant burnt their toast and triggered a fire alarm at Wyview Park.

Disturbance
A man was reported to be shouting about angels and Donald Trump near the soccer field. Officers could not find him.

A man was reported to be exhibiting signs of mental illness and acting erratically near South Campus Drive. Officers could not locate him.

Suspicious
A woman reported that an older Polynesian man approached her and said, “Take care,” making her nervous. She thought she saw a gun holster in his waistband. Officers could not locate him.

A UVX bus rider was talking to a fellow passenger who began speaking incomprehensibly. The caller claimed that a spirit told them to get off the bus at the Harmon Building, where the same passenger also exited and began following them, calling them by name.

Medical
A Heritage Halls resident was found unconscious. He was assessed and taken to Utah Valley Hospital.

Theft
BYU police received a missing bicycle report. Security footage showed the suspect riding public transit. Lehi police found and arrested the suspect.

Criminal mischief
Graffiti was reported near the Ellsworth Building. It was old, notably chipped and beginning to be covered by moss.

Accident
A car hit another vehicle while backing up in the Tanner Building parking lot. The drivers exchanged information.

A box truck hit the passenger side of an SUV while backing up near the Culinary Support Center. The drivers exchanged information.

A car was reportedly sideswiped in a hit-and-run in Lot 39. No footage of the incident was found.

A BYU delivery truck hit an Amazon delivery truck while backing up in the parking lot of Heritage Halls. An officer documented the incident.

Assault
A possibly intoxicated man on West Campus Drive attempted to strike an assisting officer. He was arrested and booked into Utah County Jail.
