Every August, Cornbelly’s invites people from across the country to visit its fall-themed attractions, including the Sunflower Festival. This yellow-dotted field is a popular spot for families to come and spend quality time together.
“Seeing families come out and put their phones down, and spend facetime together and I get emotional over it,” Natalie Jensen, Spanish Fork location manager, said.
Jensen notices that it’s not just families who enjoy the Sunflower Festival.
“We’ve got proposals going on, date nights going on,” Jensen said. “There’s a lot of date nights tonight out here.”
We caught one such pair of lovebirds leaving the field with their freshly-picked flowers in hand.
“Our apartment’s not the biggest in the world, so I thought this was the best thing we can get without taking up half the living room,” Matthew Wilson said with his wife, Anne Valentine Wilson.
With the end of the Sunflower Festival on Sept. 30, Cornbelly's welcomes its pumpkin season.
