Trampoline up Provo Canyon goes missing

The Trampoline up Provo Canyon is Gone

Where a trampoline was set up just weeks ago, now only remains dirt and wheat. Utah nature junkies ask themselves: “Where did the trampoline go?”

People from all around flocked to Provo Canyon this fall season to jump on a trampoline that has been making the rounds on TikTok and other social media.

The trampoline was set up in the mountains, up Khyv Peak Road, in a valley where people like to take photos and enjoy nature.

Utah Valley University students Vallyn Ball and Alex Jensen discovered it through social media.

“I saw the tramp on TikTok and it was kind of trending and I was like wow, I didn't think Utah would be on my, like, For You page. So when I found out it was Utah, I was like, wow I really want to go up there. It's gorgeous up there during this time of year. It's fall!” Ball said.

But when Ball and Jensen went to check it out for themselves, the tramp was nowhere to be found.

“Some bozo destroyed it, so we're sad and depressed and wandering the fields ever since," Jensen said.

A path leads up to where the trampoline once sat. A path to nowhere now.

Luckily for Ball and Jensen, they still found themselves surrounded by the lush fall time foliage. They still had a great time taking photos, enjoying the sunset and attempting to balance a large stick.

"I keep almost getting it!" Jensen said.

So the moral of this story is that even when plans don't go as expected, the day can still turn out better even if it means not jumping on a trampoline.

As for the nature lovers, Utah still has plenty to offer.
